Keep in mind that it’s possible to put live video in the props layer or a background in the foreground video layer, so just because you’d expect a certain piece of media to live on one layer, that doesn’t mean that someone hasn’t put it somewhere else. Whenever something is persistent, no matter what you do to the slides layer, look at the props or mask layer. On the slides layer, you can have various elements which can be placed in multiple layers themselves. The bottom most is the live video layer, next comes the foreground video layer, then backgrounds, slides, props, masks, and finally corner pinning.
